Self description:
Semi retired British health + education professional, involved in environmental and humanitarian work across Europe. I've always been motivated about paying forwards in life, observing what is wrong, and then doing the right thing with purpose whenever and wherever possible to effect change. As a keen outdoor person, I still enjoy sailing (I have a ketch rigged North Sea motor-sailer yacht moored in UK, which I live aboard a few weeks each year), canoeing, climbing, swimming, skiing. Other interests include reading, occasionally writing geopolitical articles, water colour painting and watching historical documentaries. I have a grown up family, all independent, so no ties apart from hosting family here in France or visiting them in the UK sometimes. Not intending having any more children of my own. I have a number of homes across the EU and have some flexibility, but prefer my new partner to move here to France, which is my main home now.
